The Karnataka Examinations Authority has invited applications for the direct recruitment of Land Surveyors in the Department of Survey and Land Records. A total of 750 vacancies are available under the Residual Parent Cadre and Kalyana Karnataka Cadre.
Eligible candidates must submit their applications on or before 7 August 2026. The recruitment offers a salary in the pay scale of ₹37,500 to ₹76,100 per month.

Candidates should ensure that their qualification satisfies the conditions prescribed in the official notification before submitting the application.
The minimum age for applying is 18 years. The upper age limit differs according to the candidate’s category.

Age relaxation will be provided according to the applicable Karnataka government recruitment rules.
Candidates who have studied Kannada as a first or second language at the SSLC level or at a higher level may be exempted from the compulsory Kannada language examination.
Candidates who have studied through Kannada medium or have already passed a compulsory Kannada examination conducted by an authorised recruitment agency may also be eligible for exemption.
Candidates who are not exempted must appear for the compulsory Kannada language examination.
Kannada Examination Pattern
Candidates who remain absent or fail to secure the minimum qualifying marks will not be eligible for the further selection process.
The written examination consists of two papers.

For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks or one-fourth of the marks allotted to the question will be deducted.
