India has 13 major ports that handle a large volume of cargo and container traffic. These ports are located on the west and east coasts of India:

In a remarkable feat, the Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has become the country’s highest cargo-handling major port. The port surpassed Deendayal Port, Kandla, with a remarkable cargo throughput of 145.38 MMT in FY 2023-24.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has welcomed the arrival of the first of six brand-new Dornier Do-228 aircraft, exclusively manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). This upgraded version of the aircraft boasts new engines, composite propellers, advanced avionics, and a modern glass cockpit.
The Indian Air Force dispatched a team to Guyana for the delivery. The High Commission of India in Guyana expressed enthusiasm, stating it marks the start of a significant chapter in their bilateral relations. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is considering a new weapon in the fight against cybercrime: the Digital India Trust Agency (DIGITA). This proposed agency would target the rise of illegal loan apps by verifying legitimate ones and creating a public registry.
It will be responsible for stopping illegal lending apps from popping up. It will enable the verification of these digital lending apps and will maintain a public register of these verified applications. Any app which will not carry the “verified” tag of DIGITA, will be considered unauthorized.

Article 84 of the Constitution lays down the qualifications for membership of Parliament. A member of the Rajya Sabha must:
• Be a citizen of India.
• Make and subscribe before some person authorized in that behalf by the Election Commission an oath or affirmation according to the form set out for the purpose in the Third Schedule to the Constitution.
• Be at least 30 years old. (article 84 constitution of India)
• Be elected by the Legislative Assembly of States and Union territories by means of single transferable vote through proportional representation.
• Not be a proclaimed criminal.
• Not be a subject of insolvency, i.e. they should not be in debt that they are not capable of repaying in a current manner and should have the ability to meet their financial expenses.
• Not hold any other office of profit under the Government of India.
• Not be of unsound mind.
Possess such other qualifications as may be prescribed in that behalf by or under any law made by Parliament.
In addition, twelve members are nominated by the president of India having special knowledge in various areas like arts and science. However, they are not entitled to vote in presidential elections as per Article 55 of the Constitution.
